that was one of my problems with this movie though, OM touched on it but there's no way as short handed as they were and with basically the world's future at stake they'd be like "ok we don't need you anymore, bye quicksilver"
also liked kelsey grammar's beast getting an appearance, he's a better beast than hoult IMO. One of the few things x3 did right.

At that point their plan was to convince Mystique to refrain from killing. They thought that between her two mentors (Magneto and Xavier) they would be able to convince her that the future depended on her not being a killer.
If their plan had been to do a full out attack on Mystique, Logan could've given them a list of powerful mutants to gather for the assault.
