I would jizz my pants...He's the director I was hoping would take over Star Wars.
Anyways, I just got out of seeing xmen and I loved it. I was very concerned when Vaughn dropped out (still would've preferred to have him direct this) but Singer really delivered. I'm not sure yet where I'd rank it, but it's definitely towards the top. Really looking forward to Apocalypse.

He actually was the first choice for the director (Lucas personally approached him about directing), but he'd have to give up filming his own original film "Tomorrowland" in order to do it, so he passed.
