Been around him for 6-7 years. Guy knows baseball. Saban's an a-hole. Belichick's an a-hole. Larussa's an a-hole. Just win.

I wouldn't say O'Neal is an a-hole, maybe kind of a smart arse,well, same thing somewhat. I played for him over a decade ago and he was an awesome coach. He knows his stuff but heard when he was at Ruston a lot of parents may not have liked him. My dad wasn't a booster club dugout coach so he never made comments to me about my coaches. I loved O'Neal as a coach though.

I second that! I've known some in my day and he is tops!! Plus he left those kids and took his kid to another school... Not sure how well the reception on N. 7th would be...
