I'm down with it. LD doesn't know if he likes soccer anymore, shows up fat. Let players that bust their arse make the trip to Brazil. This is a sign that the US is becoming a better team. Other countries always make tough decisions like this.

It's a novel and positive thought. But other countries have to make a decision like leaving out an aging star for a young talent who is proven in Europe. We just left out the best player in US history for Deandre Yedlin.

It's not a big deal really in the grand scheme I don't think it affects the end result very much but it's still pretty hard to justify.
