ear candling works but only for some earwax types.
Explain your definition of works.
It does not remove toxins from the blood. It does not do many of the claims. Can it possibly remove a bit of ear wax? Yes. Might that solve the issue? Yes.
But that can be done with other techniques as well.

oh well i hadn't heard all of that; i just used it as a way to get rid of wax buildup.
i thought you were saying that didn't work.
personally i love the sound of the crackling/burning candle in my ear. its white noise like the ocean.

How can anyone believe ear candling works? That funk they show you and tell you came out of your ear, that's the same funk you will find if you burn the cone without an ear.

You bring up cupping. I've seen things about wet cupping. Basically they make small cuts in back then put cups on and it sucks out "bad blood". Is it bad I wanna try this?

as a method of cerumen removal for patients with gummy soft earwax. those with flaky earwax it will not work.

Not to be mean but are you a moron?
Aside for minor differences in the body where the blood is coming from/going, there is no difference.
Outside of blood that can sickle, or leukemia, or viral infected blood, what do you mean bad blood?
No, bleeding you does not help. Leeching you, outside of a few select times for easing congestion in skin flaps and the such will not help.
Why would you think one could remove bad blood?

This is the BS candling to which I was referring.
The outrageous claims. Removing a little wax, no biggie. Yeah, it can. But that doesn't magically remove the toxins from your body.

Don't care what anyone says, that shite works brah
You don't get brain amoebas as long as you boil the water and cool it before you put it up your nose.

traditional cupping involves jars similar to Gerber baby food jars but more round on the bottom with a rounded lipped open side that are heated and then placed on the back. as they cool they create a vacuum and suck the skin up into the jar slightly. It is supposed to remove the bad spirits.
I suppose that making a small laceration in the skin prior to placing the cup is a variation of the process.

nah its more like a wax version of the thing cotton candy sits on.
hollow in the middle and as the edge burns the heat funnels up through it and gently melts excess earwax which is soaked up/drawn out by the part of the candle in your ear.
nice if you've got a headache due to water jammed up after swimming at getting it out.

I have no knowledge of this really which is why I asked. Sarcasm cannot be sensed when writing.

I have found for patients with gummy soft earwax it is the most effective method of removal.
