The only ones that were dropped were those given to people on highways separated by a middle turning lane.
Louisiana law is contradictory regarding such streets- one law says you have to stop, whereas another says that such streets are to be treated as a median divided highway, which would mean you would not have to stop for a bus going the opposite direction.
I got a ticket back in November and was all set to argue my case this past April. Week before was when they threw out all the cases with similar circumstances, and I got a call saying I did not have to appear and that it had been dropped.
As for the whole camera thing as a whole. . . I'm okay if the police want to sit out and catch people and write tickets, but when they outsource the whole process to a 3rd party civilian company just looking to make a profit. . .
My fine was $300 and out of that, the police and school board were getting $50. The rest went to the company that owned and operated the cameras- what a bunch of BS.

Dude, the cops don't have time to give us tickets for that. They are needed on the front line catching those seat belt violators with expired inspection stickers...
