Top seed gets home court all the way through as long as they keep advancing with a 2-2-3 format.

That's how I'd do it. The way it is now, if you steal one of the first two the odds that you'll win the next 3 are much higher. I'm just not crazy about that 3 for the road team in the middle.

5-2 advantage seems extreme. How could a 1 seed not advance to the Finals with that kind of advantage?

It is currently a 2-2-1-1-1

Lower seed doesn't get a 3 game home stretch at any point.

It's 2-3-2 format in the finals only I believe. It's not 5 games to 2

It should be 2-2-1-1-1
They changed it to 2-3-2 because the home team had more of an advantage.

More games=more money
