Have had one for a couple of years and enjoy it, use it once a month or so. There is a learning curve to getting your fire where you want it that can be frustrating at first, also it's a big effort to cook steaks on there, I've done it a couple of times and have since gone back to my grill method.

Can't beat the slow cooked BBQ and pizzas on the egg though

BGE easy peasy. Last night stuck electric starter in lump that's been in there the last 7 grillings. 10 minutes later I'm at 450 degrees. Popped steaks on 3 minutes a side. Nice char/sear and juicy inside. Two things I don't like grating isn't adjustable from coals (I improvised to get closer to coals) and hard to add wood during a long smoke
