On a more serious note:

I like ice fishing. I got an idea, to make us all happy they can submerge a 12 pack in a frozen-over pool, and we can all ice fish some beers. Eh?

Hypothetically, and based on Superbowl data, it could be colder outside of the Superdome. Not seeing your point Chad.

The record low for New Orleans on February 4th is 18 degrees with an average high of 63

The record low in Minny is -28 with an average high of 25

No idea. I'll watch the Saints win the super bowl in New Orleans then fly my arse to Hawaii

I just don't see many wives wanting to make that trip in Feb or ever.

It was extreme and it got down to 25, while it was -15 or so in Minny.

I know, it's obvious that the weather is rough in Minnesota in February. Just saying that you can have cold rain here like we had this past winter where it rained almost every day one week and it was freezing. Just about shut down Baton Rouge for most of that week.

It's not like we are immune to bad weather either, and I think people are blowing the weather part of this equation way out of proportion. The only concern they should have is if the weather will affect the game, they are both indoors, no problem.

The freezing rain in NOLA was two days at most.

Which doesn't mean shite for an event in New Orleans.

We're just waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay less likely to have it.

Any one that seriously doesn't think the weather in Minny is a factor in Feb. is not being straight. When they had it in the 90's was pretty miserable and although indoors folks had hard time getting there in snow I recall.
But the good thing is Saints can be in it! We know if it was here they would be eliminated by the NFL or officials in some way!!

New Orleans got hosed. Are they rewarding the cities with new stadiums because tax subsidies pay for these Billion Dollar venues. The citizens are being used!!
