that stadium wasn't built yesterday, and I don't feel like doing any research on this today, but when they were trying to raise support to push this through, teachers were being laid off all through the metroplex, and there was a statewide push to cut pay, pension, and benefits(supported by Perry)
in our district, at the time, there was a proposed tax increase to give to surrounding ISDs to subsidize their shortfalls, maybe Allen did something like this?
