Yeah, big time design flaw. Looks like the repairs will take a bit after the forensic analysis is done.
Not sure why the amount of money is a big deal to many on here. Texas does things different obviously and have different priorities. Maybe they should spend it on a politician so they can dick around and see if a bridge needs to be built?

maybe because they're spending obscene money on football stadiums while laying off teachers for starters? and hs football is not a revenue stream
