I am in the market for a kayak and I noticed Academy has the 12' Perception Sport Pescador on sale for $399 (from $529). Any opinions on this yak?

Thats the yak i got it. Great entry level yak. Has done everything i needed to do and more. Good price for a good yak.

Search for Pescador. They're discussed about once a week. I think there was a thread about them specifically a few weeks ago.

That is a steal as long as it is the 12' model.

Thanks for the input everyone. After checking it out I took the leap. Ended up getting the purple/yellow because the only green one they had was the display and it was beaten up. Can't wait to hit the water.
