Do you have any deceased family/ friends as Facebook friends?

I still have my cousin that was killed in a car wreck a few years ago on mine. Just like to still be able to see his face every now and then.
It seems kind of weird when I see people posting on their dead family of friends pages.

I have a few acquaintances. It's kinda an eerie feeling.

Yes.
- The father of a friend I went to high school with who died after a long illness.
- Someone I knew from high school (went to a different school) who died in a car wreck (he was drunk and on pills).
- A friend of my father who killed himself.
- Girl I went to high school with who OD'd on painkillers.
- Another girl I went to high school with who drove drunk and hit another car head-on. Killed herself and the other driver.

I have a former coworker of mine.
What is eerie is when it will pop up that it is her bday each year. I've noticed people have even posted bday wishes on her page as well.

Yes, my father's account. Many times I still go on his page just for the heck of it. Also still have his number saved in my phone. Text conversations still in my phone. As well as his last voicemail.

Yes, two friends.

My GF was FB friends with a kid she mentored through work who was killed in an accident. His friends go there and post to him periodically. Kind of weird, but if it helps them cope.

I have one, a childhood friend who was like a sister to me. She died of cancer a few years ago.
I never got the point of posting on the walls of deceased people, but I had kind of a bad day today and almost tagged her in a post saying how much I missed her. I guess it was more for her family (husband & kids), to let them know she was still missed by others. (FWIW, I didn't do it because it seemed too creepy, but will probably write a PM to her daughter soon about her.)

Still have an ex gf of mine that killed herself as a friend. Ive posted once or twice since her passing 3 years ago. I just chalk it up to being human and wishing they were still here at times. I want to think she was a good person but she was looney tunes. Im still mad at her for leaving behind her son.

My dad, my grandpa, and a buddy from Iraq. Deleting them doesn't feel right.
