Both southbound lanes of Siegen Lane have reopened following a single motorcycle accident that left one man dead Sunday afternoon, a State Police spokesman said.

Trooper First Class Jared Sandifer said the victim, whose identiyy will be released following notification of his family, lost control of his motorcycle on Siegen, near Perkins Road, south of Interstate 10 near Winn Dixie.

Sandifer said they are not sure what caused the victim to lose control.

Troopers had closed both southbound lanes following the accident.
