I have fished Rayburn quite a few times now and really love going there. Like others have said the south end(Where you are staying) is wide open for water sports. Not sure how old everyone is but if you are interested there is an island across from Twin Dikes Launch that has big parties on weekends.
I love fishing there just move off the bank and fish points with grass in 8-15' of water with whatever you like to throw and you will catch fish!
