Kid is coming off a knee injury and he's kind of light right now for a 3-4 ILB, but he's an intriguing prospect to me.

It can be tough lining up opposite a football superstar.

He is the one getting all the accolades, all the preseason All-American recognitions and being named to all the award watch lists.

And even if you did finish with more tackles and twice as many fumble recoveries than he did last year, you’re still going to be overshadowed.

But BYU head coach Bronco Mendenhall said that even though senior outside linebacker Spencer Hadley might not get the publicity of the other outside linebacker — senior preseason All-American Kyle Van Noy — it doesn’t mean Hadley is being ignored.

“Based on the NFL traffic coming in already, they love Spencer because of how hard he plays and how productive he is,” Mendenhall said earlier this week.

Rickey Jackson lined up opposite Hugh Green.

Let's hope for a repeat of that situation.

If Hadley makes the team, it will have to be because of ST play. He's very small and slow...looks like a real uphill battle for him.

Does anyone know why he didn't play at all in 2009 & 2010?

How many guys did we get in the draft and as UFA who are coming off knee injuries?
