I'm so tired of the trash in power. They're nothing but filth and scum.

quote:

Attorney General Eric Holder said Tuesday that the Department of Justice doesn't have any plans to investigate allegations that veterans placed on secret waiting lists at VA hospitals died while waiting for care.

quote:

"Well, obviously these reports if they're true are unacceptable, and the allegations are being taken very seriously by the administration. But I don't have any announcements at this time with regard to anything that the Justice Department is doing," Holder told reporters at a press conference.

"This is something on our radar screen at this point, but there is an investigation being done by the [VA] inspector general, and we'll see what happens as a result of that inquiry and other information that comes to light in some form or fashion," Holder added.

Nothing to see here.

I agree, pure filth in office. But then again, Dems don't want an investigation b/c their party is on the line. Rep's are huge p*ssies. One day the voting populace will wisen up and hold these clowns accountable. One day.

Your title should be DOJ ISN'T investigating...

It sounds like they are in wait and see mode. I would be surprised if there isn't an investigation eventually. This quote does not preclude that.

I am constantly amazed that (supposed) thinking human beings could actually believe that government/power exists for their benefit.
It really is astounding.

Most open and transparent administration EVAH!

Waiting for Little Rexy, Spidey and Decatur to show up and tell us why secret waiting lists are a good thing.

But apparently not unacceptable enough or serious enough to be looked into.

If anyone supports single payer just take a look at the VA system and tell me that is the BEST option for healthcare.

Agree with both the "wait and see" point as well as the minority assertion. I think it's reasonable to see what comes out of the investigation, but I also think that if a heavy proportion were minority, the DOJ would definitely be involved.

I see how this administration remains Squeeky Kleen™. Never investigate anything, it never happened.

However, Holder did not rule out the possibility of a Justice Department involvement with the investigation into roughly 40 deaths at a Phoenix clinic, or allegations about false record keeping at other facilities that surfaced in recent days.

“Every part of this administration, and this Department of Justice as well, takes these allegations extremely seriously,” he said. “When I say we are monitoring, that doesn’t imply inaction on our part. Monitoring is an active thing that we are doing.” Read more: LINK Follow us: @thehill on Twitter | TheHill on Facebook

What's comical is when Holder showed less inclination to file charges against Zimmerman, you drama queens started multiple threads claiming it was definite.

You were wrong.

Now you claim this means he won't in this case.

Are you such an alarmist/chicken little/drama queen IRL as you are on this board?

Holder had best get in the mix and sew this thing up before the Republicans take the Senate and a Joint Select Committee is chose to investigate this systematic MASS MURDER.

Somebody ought to find out what % of these casualties were Conservatives/Tea Party types. That would be an interesting stat.

I started a thread on this the other day, positing the idea that this will be the best opportunity (sadly so) for an all out move to restrict Government power. It ties right in to the ACA, and the potential abuse therein when the Government becomes a monopoly (single-payer) on health care.

This thing will go rogue when the children of those vets start showing up in Swift Boat ads this fall. Anybody that don't jump on board for investigation and PROSECUTION...will be toast.

And when the PROSECUTIONS (screw firing, that ain't enough for murder) start rollin in, the plea bargains and turnovers will start creeping up the hill. There had to be some form of tacit coordination; nobody would be fool enough to go out on their own and give what amounts to a death sentence to a patient. Without cover of some form.

Holder won't be able to stand up to this one.
