Yes, there are some schools that oppose Les and LSU's position on scheduling of cross-over opponents because Bama doesn't want to give up Tenn. and UGa doesn't want to give up Auburn. Spurrier has proposed to just let those schedules schedule these "rivals" as non-conference games when they fall out of rotation schedule. Seems like a good idea to me. And I'm sure LSU/Les would be on board with that.
