If this is true, then I am ashamed of LSU. To cut a seniors scholarship is abhorrent. Once again, if it is true

It's a tough biz, but he wasn't following all the rules so lets just leave it as walking away with his dignity.

If he was breaking rules, then i am fine with them cutting him. But if our coaches were to cut a Senior just to make scholarship room, it would make me absolutely sick

Obviously no one can post specifics, but do we know that he wasn't "following all the rules"? If so, then Jones's decision is justifiable. If not, then he just unnecessarily ran off a 3 year starting PG. I thought Hickey was criminally underutilized in Jones's system (if he even has "a system"). Hickey played a completely different role in years 2 and 3 than he did in year 1, one which completely failed to suit his talents IMO.

I'll give CJJ the benefit of the doubt, but it's time for more than just "paper victories" on the recruiting trail. He HAS to produce on-court results next season. If cutting these three guys is the way to do it, then so be it. However, I'm done waiting until next year. The last 5 years have been "next year". It's time for this program to do something
