Damn near fappable start, imo. He's got another tough test in his next start against Baltimore.

He did give up 2 solo HR to hunter and Avila. Also got a huge DP to end the 6th with 2 guys on.

I think his mental approach was his problem in the past. This has to be a nice confidence boost going forward

He has unbelievable stuff; twice in today's game he struck out CarGo & Tulo back to back.

Started back with 3 scary matchups in DET, BALT, and COL (albeit away from Coors), and he's survived. 7 walks in 3 starts isn't great, but it's manageable for a guy with his K potential. I'm extremely encouraged. He needs to stay with what's working and not revert back to his old quirky habits.

He's definitely turned the corner. Doesn't get any easier for him either: At Texas.
