I'm just daydreaming here. Because Bo Porter is just terrible.

So last night, the Astros were shut out by a pitcher with a 6+ ERA. I watched the first inning and saw Altuve lead off with a single. Fowler followed up with a triple, only to see Jason Castro look like Kris Karter and Dominguez get robbed and no runs. Oh, how does a team lead off with a single and then a triple and not score? Oh, that's right, because Porter calls a steal because I guess it's just humorous to him to see.

Altuve HAS to be one of the worst baserunners in team history. Bo Porter is calling for double steals later in the game on 0-1 counts with runners in scoring position (obviously) and the Rangers catcher is just mowing runners down because Bo is stupid.

So I'm dreaming here, looking into the future and hoping this is what a lineup in Houston looks like some time in July.

Dexter Fowler
Jose Altuve
Jon Singleton
Matt Dominguez
George Springer
Domingo Santana
Jason Castro
Jonathon Villar
Austin Wates

A guy can dream. We know these KIDS (because that's what they are)are going to have a rough time, but now, I'm on the boat to get these guys up and start getting their feet wet. It's time.

There's nothing that can be done about the bullpen at this point. It's amazing to me so many arms in the bullpen to be AAAA players. Luck? The starters on this team are fairly competent and will only get better with age. The bullpen is definitely something to behold.

If Altuve singled and Fowler tripled, how did Altuve not score?

I'm interested because I'm sure the Cubs could pull something like this off, too.

Think wates got hurt again in april. I do think we see JS within the next three weeks. They have to at this point. Porter has very little to work with but he is not qualified for the job. Needs to go after this season.

Boy, you know you suck when your starter strikes out 11 and you still lose

If you can't run on either Chirinos or Arencibia then you don't need to be running period.

Oh and Prom...you don't want this

Domingo Santana

Not yet. He's still just 21. 5 years younger than the average AAA player. He's striking out at 29%. For reference, Springer was at 25% between last year and this year at AAA. Santana probably needs to stay the entire year at AAA.
