I'm not a Cubs fan, but I wish the Cubs were more successful

this forced rivalry with the Reds is 1) fake and 2) like playing a slightly crappier Cardinals team - Triple A Memphis Redbirds perhaps.
The Cardinals need the Cubs to be relevant again so that we have a true rival to properly hate again.
I just can't bring myself to hate the Reds because historically they haven't mattered. They've never really been relevant.

Reds fans must be mad. Sorry that nobody in the NL Central cares about you. Cubs, Cards, Brewers sure don't. I'd rather see the Pirates excel than the Reds too.
