IF . . . and it's a big, capitalized "IF" . . . Payton sticks around after Brees is gone, I feel better about the situation (assuming the front office is intact). No matter what, though, you need more than just an "adequate" quarterback to make it to the Superbowl, imo, unless you get lucky.
