Appreciate the detailed post with links.

With all that said, do you think the Louisiana electorate will unseat her?

I live out of state, but I am seriously considering making a donation to the Cassidy campaign. Seriously, what Louisiana Republican would not be pro-oil?

Mary has proven time and time again that she is nothing but a sell out. She may have a tough fight on her hands this go round. Cassidy is no Suzanne Haik Terrell.

No problem.

I have no idea, but if I had to pick today, I would say Cassidy wins. It will all come down to the get out the vote. Dems will probably do very well in getting what voters they have to the polls. Cassidy has no major flaws IMO but needs more name recognition, and that will come. ML was polling at about 42%, which is not great for an established incumbent.

I think if there is a run off with the balance of the Senate hanging in the balance, which is possible, Cassidy wins. Landrieu's advantage is she brings home bacon, good for state to have seniority, etc. A run off will devalue the state and point to national implications.
