Im so confused by this. Are you saying you believe that Ruger (or any manufacturer) has the power to dictate which dealers get the lemons and which dealers get the guns that operate fine?

I've bought two Marlins (.22 and 30-30) and a Henry .22 from Academy. All had to go back to manufacturer within a week for a defect. Maybe just coincidence, but that's why I was hesitant to go back to a "big box" store again. When I get my CC permit and get more serious about carrying, I will upgrade. Love my uncle's HK, and will probably go that route.
