This simply isn't true. Look at Andrew Stevenson as an example. He went play summer ball last summer, changed his swing and is a much better hitter.


You actually are right. I should have worded what I said better. I played baseball in college(at Bama actually). Ive also been around a lot of baseball. A coach that knows what he is doing could revamp someone's swing, they just dont.

Schools like LSU dont really recruit players who are projects and need to really be taught hitting. The approach you take with the players they recruit is to make small tweaks if any. Not many coaches want take the chance to take a decent player in a slump, revamp his swing and risk him getting even worse.

We are 128th in OBP and 77th in SLG.

The OBP is terrible
