We had a rainbow snake in college we couldn't get to eat either. Had amphiumas, crawfish, small mud snake, all kinds of stuff. Ended up letting her go for that reason. Was terrible, but definitely the coolest snake I've ever had.

Tenfoe, my husband is curious where you found the Rainbow snake you had? They've always seemed very elusive and hard to find. We have a juvenile one right now, which eats tadpoles, and we're trying to get it to eat other stuff. Adults will usually only eat American eels.

Our mud snake eats amphiumas pretty good, but they have to be small enough for him.
