Yes, it is quite challenging to say the least. My dad is worse off than my mother, and my mother still knows enough to know that something bad is happening to her but she is not sure what it is. This is very sad as both of them are in very good physical condition. 86 and 88 yrs. old.

I know it is tough, but do have some peace in that they got to live a full life. 86-88 is above the average life span.
My grandfather had early onset in his mid 60s.
