Just curious at what the town thought of the assignment.
It's my understanding that 2 others spoke against the book, and 4 spoke in support of it.
Also , for the record, the Board allowed the entire passage to be read aloud in the meeting, as well as biblical verses saying those in favor of the book are damned. So it's not exactly like they acted against free speech.

So, it's basically like a meeting where Huck Finn is discussed as being able to be read in schools.
This is ridiculous.
