You still can't go in guns blazing just because you feel a certain way. If that were the case, murderers on trial could be shot by an upset family member or other ridiculous situations like that..

btw, I am very happy the perp is fricking dead...but do it right, if one or 2 guys would have shot each a couple of times this would be an open and shut case and the city would save us thousands of dollars by not having to feed this scum 3 squares a day for 40 years.

If this isn't proof that every cop out there is itching to shoot at anything on any moments notice, then nothing is.
