I'm from South Louisiana, and I love New Orleans and agree it is truly a unique city, but some of y'all are blinded by your love by pretending that it is heads and shoulders above every other city in being able to host an event like the Super Bowl.

I think when everything factors into it you can certainly make a case for it being the best place to host a Super Bowl.
Weather
Proximity to Hotels and the necessary amount of hotels needed
Lively and fun city
Great restaurants
Tourist friendly - the city is built on this
Miami is another great host, but they don't have the proximity to everything that New Orleans does
Chicago has the proximity to everything, but lacks the weather
Seattle is a fantastic city to be a host, but doesn't meant the hotel requirements
I'm not saying New Orleans is the best city in he country or anything like that, although it is my favorite. I'm saying with all things considered, it's the perfect mix of everything needed to host a major sporting event.
