I suspect they are no where near their 18,000 goal. By a LOT.

It's possible their last reported number they gave several months ago, 10,000, was a bogus number, too, and now if they disclosed how many signatures they have now it would reveal they lied about the 10,000 number and also about Rainey's recent proclamation they are gathering 500 signatures a week now.

That is why they not only don't want to give out their current number of signatures but also why they got testy last night when asked about it.
