People at an Al Anon meeting beg to differ. Drug abusers wreak havoc on their family members.

How much of that havoc is due to the limited availability of the drugs because they are illegal?

Oh come on. I don't use drugs, I dislike drugs, and I dislike drug users. I think drugs can screw up families and people and relationships and communities.

But I'm talking about physical harm here. In very few cases, drug users drive drunk or stab people or whatever. But it isn't common, especially when compared to the overall amount of drug use.
