Same here but I would also add that it becomes my problem when I have to start paying for shite. When you make bad decisions, you, and not other taxpayers, should foot the bill.

It's amazing how a culture of fostering irresponsibility is now used as an economic excuse for more irresponsible behavior, isn't it?

Dopers should spend a few weeks at the emergnecy room or intensive care and watch the same folks, "Frequent Flyers", come in commotose, be nursed back to health, then repeat the cycle.
Maybe they should get an ID card, living will, then they could honestly make the arguement, "its my body".

This is the only basis I ever had during the time I continued to support the illegality of drugs. I concede that it is still a valid point and will only agree to policy changes if this can be worked, somehow.

I agree that drugs should be, largely, legal - however, I believe that the consequences should be borne but the drug users - AND NO ONE ELSE.

If that means we let them die on the side of the road, we let them die on the side of the road.
