Sorry but clubs like Man United and Liverpool were not built on rampant uncontrolled spending.

Unlike you, my opinion on FFP is completely seperate from my fan affiliation.
Neither does mine. B/c it doesn't affect my club b/c my club does not spend out of control and when it does spend it covers it losses.
This is to keep teams from going under like a Leeds United but you have not been a fan long enough to actually have seen things like this happen.

Those clubs became powers in a very very different world and today they have revenue streams that dwarf most other clubs. After a decade of spending their way into that group, Chelsea is just now starting to enjoy the same thing. A club today would not be allowed to join the club though because of these new rules.
You already knew all of this though, you're just being intellectually dishonest.

bullshite. FFP means less completion for ManU, pure and simple.

Leeds' issue was debt driven, which nobody has a problem with making rules to prevent. Continuing to hide behind this flawed example shows just how full of shite you are.

I just can't understand this line of thinking. Why shouldn't a club be able to spend however it wants? Is someone else picking up the tab for Leeds failing?

What difference does it make? Why should busybodies get to decide the "right" way to build a club?
