Sky sources understand the fine will be payable over three years and the team will have to freeze their Champions League spending.

Obviously this is being challenged but still, nice to see an actual punishment for once.

The main thing being that they can only have 13 non locally trained players.

UPDATE:

60 million euros - 40m suspended, 21 player cap
PSG -> 60M Euros, 21 player cap for the CL.

I was waiting for this to come down to post it

I guess City could not come to an agreement with FFP

We will see how their youth system which they have dumped tons of money into pays off. They have actually been decent. If City didn't pour loads of money into their academy this would have been even worse.

Updated the OP with official punishments
60 million euros - 40 suspended - 21 player cap PSG same but none suspended

Surprised at PSG not getting some of it suspended as they were supposedly alot more co-operative than City, but it appears their back dated sponsorship has been deemed worse.

Anzhi and Zenit have also been named as 2 of the other 7 teams who broke the rules.
