I wouldn't spend too much money on that 16 tbh...just save up to but a 23-35 hp surface drive or at the least a better longtail bc honesty you're going to want to upgrade the hp/speed in no time once you get some hours behind the stick on that boat

Everything I was gonna say has been covered except, keep a small toolkit with the essential in it: multi-bit screwdriver, crescent, etc
