Lost my favorite aunt and uncle to it. I was so close to them growing up and respected them like no other. The last time I visited them they did not know who I was. It broke my heart.
One thing to remember when you are with her...enter her world when you are with her...don't try to bring her to a place she can't remember. It will be easier on both of you. No matter where she is, your kindness will be appreciated.
God bless both of you... It's difficult to deal with but you still have good memories to hang on to.
