re: Anyone own a I robot roomba?

My husband bought one for me last weekend and on Sunday morning I sat on the couch and drank coffee while I watched the roomba clean my house and chase my cat around. Needless to say, it was awesome. I'd definitely recommend you read the big thread on here about neato vs. roomba though before you make a purchase. Sounds like they both have their pros and cons and where one lacks, the other excels. We have a long hair cat and a black lab and they both shed like crazy. The neato doesn't get up against the baseboards but the roomba does which is good for pet hair. The roomba cleans in a very erratic pattern unlike the neato but apparently the neato is louder than the roomba which I definitely wouldn't be able to deal with because I only run it while we're home and i wouldn't be able to deal with anything louder than the roomba. Long story short, you should definitely invest in one or the other. I can't imagine going back to pushing a vacuum
