Looks like it was fatal.

DOTD has announced all lanes are closed again on I-10 at Whiskey Bay. They announced one west bound lane was open, but have since closed them all again. Troopers tell us that the accident involves four 18-wheelers. Eastbound traffic is being diverted at Breaux Bridge. The backup from this incident has reached approximately five miles in both directions. Troopers tell us they are investigating this incident as a fatality; no word on the extent of injuries or how many people are affected.
