The annual pay for a full-time minimum wage worker currently sits at $14,500, which is below the poverty line for a household of more than one person.

Minimum wage jobs are not meant for making a living....why is this concept so God damned f*cking difficult for people to understand?

I can't even tell if he is being disingenuous or he actually believes the bull sh*t he's spewing. If it's the latter, that's a scary thought.

Honestly though, I'm starting to shift blame away from politicians like this and more so to our dumb a** populous. If everyone did their research, educated themselves and made informed decisions during elections, demented people like this wouldn't be in office (or at least not to the degree they are now).

At some point we as citizens are to blame for this sh*t show. "Fool me once...."

Because in order to cater to the poor, the Dems are trying to change the definition of Minimum Wage to something along the lines of "the wage at which one can live in some level of comfort".

They should just take the gloves off and push to run the wage up to $25/hr because if $10/hr is good, then wouldn't $25/hr be awesome?
