Kind of dumb to ban him and then tell him on his way out the door: "Oh and by the way, you're fined $2.5 million." If I'm Sterling, I'm laughing my arse off when I tell the commissioner where he can stick that fine.

How does that even work?

I'm thinking more of how is family won't be allowed to control the team. Hell, when DeBartolo pled guilty, he was allowed to hand the team over to his sister.

He still owns the team and will make money off of the team via profits.
