Back in the late 80's, a rich uncle of mine stayed in the Pan-American Suite at the Bellemont. It had a private pool, 4 rooms, sauna, etc.

Now that the Bellemont has become a field, what is the nicest suite in Baton Rouge?

Do luxury suites on this level even exist in Baton Rouge anymore?

From an article in the Advocate, Apr. 24, 1988:

"...We have a Pan American Suite with its own private swimming pool and a Jacuzzi. It's where the director of the movie The Toy stayed. It has a large bedroom, a huge living room with a fireplace, a kitchen and wet bar and a small private patio. The suite costs $350 a night, and we offer it as an incentive to CEOs and convention chairmen.

I'm sure Lauberge has some legit suites. I know the one in Lake Charles does.

The Huey P Long suite at the Hilton Capitol Center is the nicest I've seen. Stayed there on my wedding night. I'm sure there are some nice ones at l'auberge.

There are a lot of choices, but all of them are at Baton Rouge's premier suite hotel, Calloway Inn and Suites.

Why head to the coast, when you have your own paradise in the Tropical Room

Coming for that big game against Sam Houston State? You need to book early to get the LSU Suite on gameday!

Its date #3, and you are looking to seal the deal? Hop into the hot tub in the Romance Suite

Remember to check out their Vegas-style pool

The best suite at the Crowne Plaza in BR is barely nicer than a regular one-room suite at the BR Residence Inn. Fact.
