Alleva may have gotten us some night games in Tiger Stadium

So our games that would be played on the SEC network will be at night...wow great job Joe

All he did was get us every home game at night every year except Alabama (if cbs chooses another game for primetime) and Florida will be cbs games yearly.

I'll believe it when I see it. The SEC rarely looks out for our best interests.

What I hear is "Sure Joe, well think about LSU's night game tradition when doing our scheduling. Then do whatever the frick we want."

I welcome more night games in Tiger Stadium, but I'm not convinced this is some great job by Alleva that got this done. In 2012, we had a very similar schedule to what we'll have in 2014; and 7 of 8 games were at night that year. We know CBS won't want the 3 cupcake games, MSU, or UK, and there's a good chance that Bama will be the CBS prime time game again. So, that leaves Ole Miss on October 25th as the lone candidate for a CBS game at home this year. And that happens to be the same day Bama and UT play, so CBS has a game that will likely have more appeal to them anyway.

If all of our 2015 games are at night too, then I'll say Alleva did a great job.

Is this really good for LSU? Will it cost us some big games on CBS? I hope we don't end up with 11:am/12pm games as a result. Hope I'm wrong.

Well the sec is about maintaining tradition. So for them to not be completely full of shite, they need to maintain traditions from all the members, not a select few.
