Kershaw was drafted in 06 and started in 08/09. Madbum was drafted in 07 and started in 10. It isn't that long of a wait. It's not like the Astros will be competing in '15 or '16. They'll be ready to go in '17, which is when Kolek will get a sept. call up and then they'd be ready for him to have the full time gig in '18 when Correa, Springer, Singleton, Cosart, Folty, appel, deshields, Mccullers, and Velasquex should all be hitting their peaks.
