I've never taken any anti-depressants but I have seen Zoloft work wonders with some of my loved ones.

Did they ever mention it causing problems with their sex drive? If it's helping with my current state of depression that's great, but taking away my sex drive will cause other problems.


I'm 24, I certainly don't want to have problems with shite like that. It is a pretty low dosage, but reading about people having problems in their sex life is scaring me a bit.

These medications work for the most part. They can help you get over the hump. Seeing a therapist will also help. Give it a try but give it at least a month to work to its full potential. Don't forget physical activity and try to get some sunlight daily. It's been a long hard winter.

You can not just quit taking AD's. You have to ween off them very slowly by reducing the dosage.
