That's an interesting photo. Thanks. Looks like the last name is spelled differently. I searched for information on his alleged golden gloves career and found nothing.

me too, there isn't anything about golden gloves but apparently Harry has mentioned it
The best info (and it is spotty) indicates that he may have done a little bit in school (like PE class).

Harry Reid was seen last October pounding another Senate boxer in the 3rd floor mens room, screaming "Is that all you got, bitch?" over and over.
Barbara reportedly got up after about 15 minutes and sent harry a text, saying "Ya fuggin scumbag, your arse is mine." ....

Not sure if Germans, but:
Judy Walkman, a professional genealogy researcher in southern California , was doing some personal work on her own family tree. She discovered that Senator Harry Reid's great-great uncle, Remus Reid, was hanged for horse stealing and train robbery in Montana in 1889. Both Judy and Harry Reid share this common ancestor.
The only known photograph of Remus shows him standing on the gallows in Montana territory.
On the back of the picture Judy obtained during her research is this inscription: 'Remus Reid, horse thief, sent to Montana Territorial Prison 1885, escaped 1887, robbed the Montana Flyer six times. Caught by Pinkerton detectives, convicted and hanged in 1889.'
So Judy recently e-mailed Senator Harry Reid for information about their great-great uncle.
Believe it or not, Harry Reid's staff sent back the following biographical sketch for her genealogy research:
"Remus Reid was a famous cowboy in the Montana Territory . His business empire grew to include acquisition of valuable equestrian assets and intimate dealings with the Montana railroad. Beginning in 1883, he devoted several years of his life to government service, finally taking leave to resume his dealings with the railroad. In 1887, he was a key player in a vital investigation run by the renowned Pinkerton Detective Agency. In 1889, Remus passed away during an important civic function held in his honor when the platform upon which he was standing collapsed."
That’s real Political Spin!!

Reminds me of Joe Piscopo on SNL in the Doug and Wendy Whiner skit.
One of my all time favorites! That was funny stuff.
The whole Republican Party in Congress should jump on the slam Reid bandwagon. Inundate the Media with every defamatory thing they can think of...like Reid did Romney re taxes. They don't need the blessing of some hypocritical *ethics* committee to destroy that low life.

That is the new slogan for the GOP

Republicans are casting the midterm elections as a golden opportunity to fire Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid

He was kind. Didn't even mention Reid's pedophilia.

I notice the guy barreled over but I think its because Reid kicked him in the nutts before hitting him with his fist. Common move by a liberal.
