Basketball- Will We Suck Again Next Year?

Just renewed my pledge to TAF that they'd get my tax deductible money. Great. I plan on expanding my basketball tickets from 2 to 4 this coming year.
Question. I went to probably 75% of the games this year. Really enjoyed them.
We going to be any better next year? Haven't paid any attention to program other than JOB3 leaving.
The TAF guy was like "basketball is on the up swing." I kind of laughed when he said that.

Its hard for me to see it honestly. Hickey is just too small on defense. But boy do I hope they surprise me!

could be similar to this year. should be a couple to a few wins better. need to improve fundamentally and on defense. can they? the jury certainly isn't in...

I wouldn't necessarily say that LSU basketball "sucks" right now, but any kind of "upswing" is solely based on potential not on-court results. In his two years CJJ has raised the level of recruiting, but produced two mediocre seasons (.500 SEC records). Will next year be better? Maybe. However the same was said about this season going into the season.
I look at it this way. Right now the LSU basketball stock is low, and it's easy to get in. If the program does blow up, then it will be a tough ticket at the PMAC.

two year with .500 conf records and winning overall records as oppposed to how many losing seasons in a row with Trent????

I think it could be more exciting next year but it's possible the record could be worse. I think we get to 20 wins though and play an even faster, more fun style.

Bro you are getting all the hate because every thing you have posted has been about you spending money and bragging on your self and not about your post (which was a waste of typing)
However, to answer your question: Yes in my opinion we will be a better all around ball club, we will have a slightly better record and be a bubble team and have building blocks for the next season when Simmons gets here. And when he steps on campus it is game on.
