Aren't there other cities without the Mall?
How is Central doing? I have no idea.
Also, this does not have to mean hatred and never dealing with one another. Hell, Most people don't really pay attention what is BR city limits, unincorporated, or Prairieville, etc. I don't pay much attention to the "city" I am in in my area. I go to the store, restaurant, etc that I want to go to and just live my life.

They based their entire budget with the Mall of La being the backbone of their sales tax revenue. If they don't have that, they will have to raise taxes significantly on the residents there. They aren't telling people that.
