I messaged one of them and told them about a major book character dying and said if they didn't cut that shite out I'd send them more spoilers.

That's amazingly awesome. You are the man. Like I said I don't have a Facebook so I never see that shite but it just enrages me that people do that. Like hey look at me I watch this show. Plus you know it could ruin it for someone else. Like so selfish. I luckily have never been spoiled on anything

I of course heard it when I watched the episode. When I posted a link to that scene in the MGT to start the season I had to search a little for a version that ended before the spoiler was given, but that's what I do for the Hodors (besides staying out of your thread for the last 2 years).

You do realize the book came out in 2000, and the series as a whole became immensely popular in 2011. They had somewhere between 3 and 13 years to read the books and know in advance.
